FISHING PHOTO WE 20TH MAY
Sorry about the lack of reports, but I’ve been a bit under the weather. Should be right, this coming weekend.
The boys have been getting flathead on the beach drifts, the snapper are around another week and the cuttle fish should start to expire and bring the bigger ones out of hiding.
Will have more next week, weather permitting of course.
Listen to 96.5 Wave FM Saturday and Sunday 6.15am for weekend fishing reports and 2ST.
Also, The Captain is now on 2KY’s Weekender program, 5.15am Sunday’s.
Until next week,
Cheers, Captain Roscoe TM
WELLS WITH RUNNER-UP MORWONG, SATURDAY
With Monday coming up short by a couple of people, our first day out was Saturday when Paul from Plaster Master hired Signa for part of his firm’s annual fishing comp. Having the biggest fish last year, the pressure was on. We set out with a couple of Paul’s employees, contractors, suppliers and relatives for a mixed grill. The conditions weren’t 100%, but fishable at 40 fathoms and the morwong were there big time, plus pigfish and snapper. A move south produced bigger morwong and pigfish and the winning 54cm morwong for Joe. Congratulations Joe to edge out 45 anglers. Congratulations to Paul as well on another successful day and congrats Signa, winning 2 years in a row.
Sunday, Slav brought 2 mates along with Matt & dad and Chris & mate. The weather was up and down all day, with the wind and swell changing hourly causing us to change depth regularly. Still, they managed big mowies, pigfish and leatherjackets. Best of the day was Slav with 5 mowies from 3 drops. Everyone had a great feed to take home.

"TROY'S WINNING MORWONG"
With Wednesday and Sunday a blowout, we only worked Saturday this week.
So, Tony the scaffolder and staff came down for the weekend. Some had a big Friday night, meaning the lounges got a good workout.
The leatherjackets ensured everyone got a good feed, even the non-fishers. Troy’s morwong got the biggest fish jackpot. The hussar were a bonus and everyone got a good feed and were happy. Tony asked to go back early, for I’m sure, a great BBQ at Kendall’s Beach Caravan Park.
We have midweeks available so give us a call.

LEWIS AND DAD, SATURDAY
Monday, Youna and the electric reel gang were on board with a handful of mowies and some pigfish, the end result. It’s hard to catch fish when you’re asleep in the cabin!
Wednesday and Friday were lost with the wind, sea and swell.
Saturday, we had Lewis, celebrating his 12th birthday and dad on board with Peter & mate, Eric & mate, Bernard and Terry. The morwong were plentiful with some good ones coming on board. Pigfish and snapper rounded out the day. Lewis did show up dad and we ended with a great day and good feed.
Sunday was cancelled due to a lack of interest from the booked in crew.

"WALLY THE POM ON THURSDAY"
What a great week!
Monday, Adam & 2 mates, Tim the Toolman, Lisa, hubby & friends, Sarki, Paul & mate came on board. With good snapper, morwong and pigfish a plenty, everyone went away happy campers.
Thursday, we had John & 3 mates, Wally The Pom and Reedie for his 17th birthday. The Pom just destroyed everybody with biggest snapper and most snapper, closely followed by the birthday boy. Again they all went away happy.
Saturday, was Ingleburn Hotel Fishing Club seniors turn and one of the juniors, Wodgi, blitzed the field with biggest fish with a morwong 2.04kg. The Admiral was runner up with a 2.02kg salmon. Mystery fish wasn’t won so the jackpot stands at $460. A good day was had by all with 20kg total of fish cleaned.
Sunday, Brian & son, Qui & 4 mates, Chris & son and Darren & mate fronted for leatherjackets, morwong, jackass morwong, snapper & pigfish. Everybody got a great feed and there was heaps of father-son bonding.
We have midweeks available and Sunday 22nd we have an empty boat so give us a call.
